Super helpful video! Just assembled and started running my new Atezr L2 24W with roller rotary and Lightburn. Newbie question 1: Any advice on how to properly set the Origin (current position? user? absolute?) so I can avoid crashing into the rails. Thanks for this review! It was super helpful but could I get some suggestions? I ran my design using the following settings: Power :90 Speed :50 Lines per inch: 200 I have a lot of fine details and halftone accents that didn’t engrave through! What setting would you suggest for this? 😮

I was engraving with the power speed table from your other video to test my acrylic and there is a crack in every box, I'm using a comgrow z1 any idea why? Could it just be the acrylic I'm using?

Informative video...actually already I wasted my money buying Atomstack X20 pro... They didnt clearly mentioned that it can't cut transperant acrylic... From my experience only it came to know that. My other requirement was to stencil cut on 0.05mm thick steel sheet, which also they mentioned in their cutting list. Even that was also not happening. At low power its not cutting, and as power increases, the metal sheet is melting, shrinking, wrinkles, dark ashes etc happening. Honey comb bed was used beneath.

How to clean the laserlens?

You can actually engrave on glass without a coating, it's a process you need something black under the glass they won't ignite! It melt! Power and speed are very finicky from machine to machine I have done it and broke a lot of glass , um still trying to get the settings perfect. I'm using a Roly LaserMATIC 20w with it set to 10w . The way in this video is definitely better for beginners.

I have seen a video by James dean designs and had used a brasso metal cleaner to put a surface on the clear acrylic.

Hi! Thanks for the video! I bought it during the kickstarter campaign, but i didn't buy the laser, thinking to buy one later (maybe find a less expensive one). Honestly i'm a total noob about lasers (but i love screen printing, that's why i wanted to try this), i don't even know which laser i should buy to engrave my screens. I'm looking for an affordable one (i just want to use it as a hobby), but powerful enough to work great. Any recommandations? Would a 20W laser works? They said on the page that any laser brand should works. Thank you.

Can I use a Rotary from XTool and roller from XTool on the ORTUR laserMaster 3 OR laser pro 2 S2 I have the pigtail, but I'm not sure if it's compatible. Somebody gave me their X Tool rotary & Chuck . I just need to know if it's compatible it's a five pin connector, but only using 4 wires center pin is not being used between the five pins.

Super informative video and I love the TLDR segment (I watch it all anyway). Can you recommend lasers that would score white or colored borosilicate glass (not clear)? Not looking to etch wide lines, just score fine lines for subsequent breaking apart. Thanks for any help!

Well Done! Little Tip, I have a 30w Fiber Galvo and tried several different methods including putting it on stainless steel which was the best option I found on the internet until I tried something I haven't seen anyone else do you should try because I felt it came out twice as nice! I taped the Malayan black aluminum business card blanks to the backside of my glass and the results were easily twice as nice resulting in a nice black marking. It didn't arc or splatter nearly as hard as the stainless steel. Just something for you guys to try.
